Broker's Comments
Tanzers have a reputation for being solid, tank-like builds, comparable to the Catalina 22. According to Canadian Yachting, "the Tanzer 22 has a reputation as a lively sailer. The class has been invited to race at CORK five times since 1979, when it was the first racer/cruiser to participate. She initially raced there with the Olympic classes, then shifted to the Offshore course."
This Tanzer 22 is well updated and well equipped with a Honda 9.9hp outboard, navigation electronics, and an assortment of foresails. The wiring and electrical system have been updated quite nicely and the cabin is heated by propane fireplace. Solar panel keep the batteries charged while at the dock or underway.
As equipped, this vessel is well suited for racing and weekend cruising in the PNW.
