Broker's Comments

Westerly have an excellent reputation for building solid, comfortable and lasting boats. This 33' version is a great example of this pedigree, commented to be a well respected, comfortable and spacious cruiser.

Capable of both coastal and offshore passages, the boat has been reported to be responsive under sail and has a safe and comfortable feel, with the centre cockpit, making it ideal for families and longer distance cruises. Room on deck is equally comfortable, with spacious workable side decks and foredeck.

The volume of space extends to the interior with good headroom, a separate roomy aft cabin, separate forward cabin and heads, with plenty of stowage throughout. The galley provides plenty of room for preparing meals and clearing away afterwards and the saloon and its table make a comfortable and social space for relaxing and socialising.

This version looks to have been well maintained over the years, as detailed in the listing. When I visited the boat, I was struck by its light and spacious feel, due to the number of hatches, windows and the open space below, which also provides comfortable accommodation with ample headroom.

This boat is an attractive option for a range of uses, including the potential for coastal cruising, extended passage making and live-aboard possibilities, all in all, this boat appears to be a tidy, spacious boat with an excellent reputation.
