Commentaires du Broker
The Alajuela 38 was introduced when the "world-cruising" boom developed in the early 1970s. The builders designed and engineered a boat that earned acclaim for its sturdy construction, its beautiful and traditional lines, and its sailing characteristics. Named one of the "best boats to buy or build" by Ferenc Mate, and displaying remarkable longevity these boats are much-sought-after by knowledgeable cruising sailors.
This lovely Alajuela 38 was built mid-way through the production run of 81 boats. She has clearly been well-maintained, and her current owner has installed new equipment (including engine) and many custom features to ensure her reliability and comfort at sea and at anchor. Her interior is in impeccable condition and is incredibly warm and inviting. A visit aboard is sure to ignite dreams of casting off lines and leaving port far behind.
