Broker's Comments
Launched in 2006, this is a fine example of the performance version of Bavaria’s 35’ range. Little touches give it away, such as the keel-stepped mast and the stainless rod rigging. Originally lightly equipped by her first owner, in order to be as competitive as possible in the racing circuit, she lacked some of the refinements and concessions to comfort required by those who like to cruise as well as race. Her second (and current) owners acquired her in October 2009 and spared little expense in re-equipping her for a fast-cruising role. In addition to the original extensive sail wardrobe (comprising two main-sails, four fore-sails, storm jib, four symmetrical and one asymmetrical spinnakers), she now boasts new laminated cruising sails by North, complete with a new forestay furling system. Other recently-added gear includes new rope clutches, Raymarine autopilot, and an extensive safety-gear inventory including EPIRB. The fridge compressor and heating system are both recent, and much of the upholstery has been re-covered. She is clean and tidy, inside and out, and has clearly been carefully maintained and otherwise looked after. Sadly, her owners have not had the opportunity to use her much, so, rather than allow her to languish, have reluctantly decided to offer her up for sale.
