The Beneteau Antares 8.80 is still rare in the UK compared with the earlier version the 780, a best seller.
This example has been very lightly used - the twin Suzuki outboards have done less than 50 hours. This model also has Air Step technology which improves performance up to and on the plane.
Another advantage of this model is two double berths plus an occasional berth and a holding tank, which could make it ideal for a family with children or two couples.
It is more than a fishing boat and could be used for cruises of several days as well.
The owner is a keen fisherman and I was surprised to see that the gas cooker, galley and heads have never been used. In fact this boat is like new.
The owner specified over £10,000 of extras on the standard model such as radar, extra cockpit bench, teak cockpit table, de luxe curtains pack, extra Lenco trim tabs, sundeck (never used) and cockpit cushions and cockpit cover.
He has been meticulous with servicing and anti fouling schedules in spite of very light usage.
