Broker's Comments

Tjalk-type residential barge 15.50 meters long for sale. Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to present this 15.50-meter Dutch Tjalk liveaboard year-round for sale.

Only the hull of this boat seems to show its age (doubled in 1996). The entire superstructure and fittings appear very recent. Our owners, who acquired this boat in 2014, transformed and fitted out the superstructure to achieve this impressive result.

Unusually wide for a boat of this length, creating a spacious living area. Here we have a truly modern floating apartment that our owners lived aboard for many years as their primary residence. I felt the care and quality of finish that our owners have brought to this barge.

Fully double-glazed, beautiful rear terrace veranda that can be converted into a cabin, well-equipped kitchen with integrated furniture, fridge, dishwasher, freezer - nothing missing compared to a modern apartment.

Recent hull maintenance and survey (05/2024) are a significant advantage.

The owner told me that the current annual mooring fee is 1600 €.

Mooring renewal is subject to approval by VNF.
