Broker's Comments
The Tradewind 35 is one of the approved boats for the Golden Globe Race and it would be, without doubt, high on my list of boats to do some serious ocean cruising on!
Strong and solidly built for sea, as soon as you step aboard you feel safe and secure. The cockpit, although small by modern design standards, is exactly where you'd want to be on passage, snug behind the sprayhood letting the boat just do what she does best.
The decks are clear and easy to move around, everything has a proper place and the cutter rig gives real versatility to sail regardless of crew or conditions.
Below the traditional layout is again all about being useable both at sea and alongside with single berths converting to doubles and pipe cots possible if you have more hands. The galley and chart table are either side of the companionway, both well equipped and laid out and storage is plentiful throughout
This Tradewind 35 is (in my humble opinion) one of the nicest I've had the pleasure of being aboard. She is lucky enough to have a very experienced and meticulous owners who have spent the last year preparing her to go off blue-water cruising. Unfortunately their plans have had to change so she's now ready and waiting to look after her next crew.
