She has a very traditional Hank Hinckley interior with warm white ash and teak joinery. Attention to detail is evident when you see all the slots in the screws perfectly aligned with each other, old school craftsmanship style.
As you enter the tall companionway doors into the raised pilothouse you see windows all around providing excellent visibility. The windows themselves are built to withstand serious green water. The helm station is on starboard. The nav station is just aft of helm station. A settee is to port, and converts with the back folding up to become a bunk. When converted the lower berth is a double and the upper is a single.
Down three steps to the main level the large L-shaped galley is on port. -- a nice offshore capable galley: Dickinson Mariner Regal 3-burner stove & oven - SS, Xantex LPG detector and solenoid control, Kenmore microwave, deep double stainless sink, hot & cold pressure water; 2ea water tanks 160 gallons & 68 gallons, Grunert 7- cubic foot top load refer, Grunert 2.5-cubic foot top load freezer, abundant storage.
The dinette is on starboard and seats five. It converts to a double berth. The seat back also folds up for a single berth so a total of three can sleep in this location.
The master stateroom is forward in the vee and offers abundant storage.
Starboard and forward of the main bulkhead is a spacious head with a full size stall shower. The head has a TDX (treat and discharge) treatment system.
An Espar (DL-4) forced air diesel furnace provides heat throughout the boat.

Commentaires du Broker
This Hank Hinckley 42 Pilothouse Ketch is one of the finest example of an Ocean Cruising blue water yacht that there is. She was designed and built to be a safe passage maker....
This is a custom pilothouse design built on a stock Hank Hinckley hull. She is a lovely representation of Maine craftsmanship and construction under Hank Hinckley's supervision. Her replacement value would be in the area of $700,000.
Rebuilt engine installed by Tacoma Diesel in 2006.
The complete build book, plans and every piece of documentation are included with this one-owner boat.
