This 30ft catamaran is designed for relaxed sailing, with comfort on board as a top priority. Ideal for couples or a family with young children for coastal sailing or island hopping. The optimised living space in the cockpit and cabin areas are on one level. With a beam of just 3.44m, it fits comfortably into the same marina berth as a typical 36-40ft monohull, lowering your marina costs.Unique Features
A single furling sail makes sailing easier and much more relaxed. The helm station has 360-degree visibility making docking easy, especially with the quiet twin electric motors equipped with fingertip control throttles. Hi Jim. Having spoken to the yard the cruising speed is 4.5 knots and top speed 7.5 knots. As could be expected the sea state will affect these numbers. I bumped into one of the yard owners, Paul, yesterday at Royal Cape Yacht Club, Cape Town. He was busy loading the first of the full electric versions (no sail) which is on its way to the Farr East. The owner had ordered it with a extra 10kw battery bringing the total up-to 38.8kw!
What are full speed and cruising speed under electric please? you quote the time but not the speeds.

"Apart from all the systems being grounded and a galvanic isolator there is no built in lightning protection on the standard boat. This could be offered as an option. The boat is built to CE certification category C. "
What happens to the electrical systems if this boat receives a lightening strike? Is there any protection built in for this event ?
