Broker's Comments
Just 26 of these gorgeous Nicholson 36 yachts were built by Campers. Their delicate overhangs have endowed them with the beautiful lines of earlier wooden yachts but these looks belie a serious sailing capability. Owning one of these yachts is about as close as you can come to owning a classic yacht without the bother of a wooden hull. And classic yachts rarely come with better breeding.
This 36 has been taken in hand and had serious money spent on all the important bits. She is a proper sailor's yacht of the type that are simply not made anymore. The accomodation below, excepting the upholstery and the cabin floor is largely original.
With difficulty, you may find elsewhere another Nic 36 for sale but I would very much doubt you would find another of this quality.
Once again, I am delighted that Boatshed Falmouth has been asked to handle the sale of such a lovely yacht. The Boatshed system of taking and making available so many photographs is critical for the promotion of unusual and interesting boats. As always, I am happy to put the high resolution photos on CD and mail them.
