Z-spars Z500F with 6mm wire furling headsail system (2012)
Z Spar deck stepped mast, silver anodised fractional rig, single spreaders, stainless steel standing rigging and bottle screws, backstay (with 8" longer crane) and tensioning system, spinnaker boom fixing.
All standing rigging replaced 2012. Converted from bolt rope to slider 2012.

Lifting, epoxy coated, cast iron low centre of gravity keel (300kg) finished ith epoxy primer antifoul. Keel head incorporated nylon sliders and rollers. Keel box also incorporates forward lower stainless steel fabricated roller.
12V electric keel winch (StrongArm) with remote push button controls in cockpit. Keel inch line replaced 2016. Keel position marker and stainless steel hold up pin.

This really is a fine example of the Lifting Keel Parker 285. Owned by a father and son team who have maintained her to a high standard and enjoyed their 10 years of ownership. Stored ashore on her cradle in the winter, always professionally winterised and serviced.
The Lifting keel provides great windward performance whilst being able to reach the parts of harbours and rivers that other yachts can only dream of....
