Broker's Comments
This Tartan 3700 is a strikingly beautiful boat with its blue Awlgrip hull, its many stainless steel portlights, gleaming teak toerails and handholds, lovely lines, and tan non-skid decks and matching canvas. Its interior is equally lovely and designed for spacious comfort -- light-finished cherry joinery, teak and holly sole, a beamy saloon, roomy fore-and-aft cabins, and abundant storage.
She's a sailor's dream, with wide side-decks that make movement around the boat safe and easy, a spacious cockpit, large leather-wrapped wheel steering, all lines led aft with top-quality rigging and equipment, and a sturdy, well-proportioned dodger.
The quality of construction is evident in the design of its robust sealed cockpit locker hatches, sturdy stanchions, massive chainplates, high-capacity deck and cockpit drains, even an electrically-operated swim platform.
Auxiliary power is a Yanmar 3JH 40 hp diesel -- highly-regarded and reliable power. Maintenance on the engine and the rest of the vessel has been extremely attentive and she appears in unusually good condition.
