Interior insulated with kingspan, lined in pine with oak faced ply in the saloon. Spiral staircase (salvaged from a bus) connects the wheelhouse with the lower deck via the funnel area. When she was re-engined the funnel became obsolete as the engine was moved aft into the former crew cabin. Hatches on the top deck allow access to the main deck for moving large items between. Escape hatches forward and aft.

Commentaires du Broker
Boatshed Liverpool are delighted to offer this piece of Maritime history. She was built by WJ Yarwood at Northwich for the River Weaver Navigation Company in 1937. She was designed primarily to serve the purpose of towing dumb barges but she was also used to transport stores and plant material. She has full photographic history available with her, she has been owned by the current owner since 2005 when she was converted to a liveaboard. In 2007 she completed a 860 mile delivery trip cruising with ease at over 7 knots, she also obtained Historic Ship Status the same year. If you are looking at purchasing a liveaboard with stacks of character and history then please contact me for more information or to arrange a viewing.
