Fully teak laid aft deck, side and fore-decks. Hull is Epoxied. Pulpit and pushpit rails, fender baskets, flagstaff holder. Stanchions with guardwires. Boarding gate
to port and starboard and aft gate. Exterior handrails to forward coach house and wheelhouse roof, exterior grab handles to side of wheelhouse. Exterior helm seat (fully adjustable) with footrest, bow roller, four pairs of mooring cleats, centre mooring bollard to foredeck, two fairleads to foredeck
toerail, boarding platform (teak treads) and boarding ladder (teak treads) with swim ladder, stowage for liferaft on aft side of pushpit.

American cherry timber and veneer finished with two pack semi gloss varnish, grab handles
throughout, carpeted throughout with carpet inlay to wheelhouse and galley steps. Leather helm and
pilot seats including sliders and arm-rests. Blue upholstery in dinette and wheelhouse and galley
areas in as new condition. Curtains throughout. Interior fittings in chrome.
Twin guest cabin with large storage areas, hanging locker and access to heads compartment on
portside.
Forward heads manual toilet, shower etc. with connection to waste tank.
Three hatches each fitted with flyscreens and blinds, one hatch to forward heads with blind, 12
portlights, wheelhouse windows with sliding forward sections and grey tinted glass, ventilators to all cabins, wheelhouse, galley and aft heads.
Galley to starboard with many custom features. Galley top moulded Corian with fiddle rail, waste
bin and Corian sink. Ample galley stowage and beautifully hand crafted solid timber joinery. Large
storage cabinets and drawers. Fridge, two burner hob and oven complete with grill. Fiddle rails to
hob. Domestic Gas system with alarm and automatic shut off valve, two 4.5 kg gas bottles with
regulator.
Helm position to port and pilot seat and demountable chart table to starboard. Helm and pilot seats
with sliders and arm rests. There is a sofa to starboard and L-shaped seating to port. Chart table is removable and stowed at aft starboard end of wheelhouse when not in use.
Large offset double berth and separate heads compartment. Ample stowage lockers and drawers.
Hanging locker to starboard. Dressing table / mirror to aft port. Large locker beneath foot of double berth.
Air conditioning fitted throughout accommodation.
Ebberspacher D5L diesel heating system throughout the boat (including both Heads).

Another excellent example of a much loved and cared for DALE NELSON 38 aft cabin motor
cruiser. This boat was built by us in 2000 and is incredibly well equipped with numerous special
features and modifications, which can be seen in the photographs that follow and represents a rare
opportunity to buy a genuine Dale Nelson and experience and enjoy the legendary sea-keeping and the very best of craftsmanship for which DALE has become renowned. Dolphin V has just come on the market and is ready for sale. This vessel has had numerous updates to the specification with the latest electronics fitted, air conditioning, satellite TV, antifouling removed and Coppercoat
antifouling system being applied January 2013 and much more including annual service work
undertaken by the Dale factory over the recent years.
