Broker's Comments
A great combination of style, comfort and performance, this Hanse 341 for sale with Boatshed Port Solent seems to me to be most people’s idea of a perfect performance cruiser. She was designed by the chaps who drew the Swiss entry to the 2003 Americas Cup – and she won! Remember that? Win the Americas Cup and you haven’t got a coastline? Bloomin’ cheek. Plenty of head-scratching and mumbling that day, I can tell you!
The storage on this yacht is really amazing – there are lockers everywhere, and the mother of all cockpit lockers can be accessed from the heads compartment. I liked the hanging space for wet gear – easy to get at but not in the way, if you see what I mean.
She has a self tacking foresail, so the occupants of the cockpit don’t get shoved out of the way every time the winches need grinding. She does have all the usual halyard and sheet winches, so the gennaker (2005) can be flown with no hassle – and we all know that self-tackers need some help going down wind.
So, performance and comfort – how do I know this? Because she has an adjustable backstay AND cabin heating!
