One owner from new, this is a fine looking example of the Hunter Legend 410 sailing yacht. Warren Luhrs expertise in design incorporate an arch. The arch is intended to open up space in the cockpit that would be taken up by the traveler and main sheet while still providing for end-boom sheeting. The owner feels that end-boom sheeting is more efficient and takes less effort, resulting is lower stress on all components involved (mainsheet, traveler, and deck). It takes the traveler out of the cockpit at the same time. The arch provides an attachment point for a bimini and a location for lights and speakers.
She benefits from a Bowthruster too as well as a superior 55Hp Yanmar diesel engine. The helm seat flips up to allow for easy access to and from the bathing platform. There is also a gangplank which is ideal for the Mediterranean. The owner has enjoyed sailing to the Baltic, Europe, the Mediterranean and of course UK waters too. The owner even has the orginal brochures for the vessel as well as manuals etc.

The accommodation is light and airey with many portholes for ventilation too. The teak and holly floors and joinery give it a lovely ambience. The galley is of generous proportions but does not interfere with the saloon area.
The boat originally had a huge aft cabin large enough for an queen sized bed. The current owner has cleverly made on double and one single aft-cabin as you will see from the video coverage and photographs.
The vessel appears to have been well maintained by her meticulous owner over the years.

The offset anchor rollers allow for the deployment of two anchors at the same time. The deep well allows for a large amount of chain. The built in shelf houses the windlass and keeps the deck uncluttered.
The decks are moulded with a non-slip pattern.

This Luhrs Hunter Legend is very well presented and has had only one owner from new. The owner ordered many upgrades when he purchased her. She benefits from a 55Hp Yanmar engine, Vetus Bowthruster and is set up for extended cruising. She has very pleasing lines, a spacious uncluttered cockpit and excellent accommodation below decks too. She is a Catagory A vessel and is set up for easy cruising. She is an ideal boat for a family and a lot of boat for the money.
