The engine has it own independent battery and controls. The controls/display (rev-counter, volt meter, alarms) are mounted on the cockpit binnacle.
2, 12V 225 ah batteries connected together in the pilot berth under the floor, these are used for 24V equipment thruster, anchor winches, main-sheet winches and fridge when not connected to the mains.
These batteries are charged from the engine 24V 80 amp alternator while it is running. When connected to shore power or generator they are charged by an 24V 60 amp SBC Advanced smart 230V battery charger with display also independent monitoring display.
The Engine has its own 12v 230 Ah battery under the floor in the mid-ship gangway (hall) at the engine room. This battery is charged from the engine 12V 100 amp alternator. When connected to shore power or generator they are charged by an 12V 80 amp SBC Advance smart 230V battery charger with a built in display and also an independent display.
Port panel has it's own 12v 230Ah (approx) separate battery also mounted under the engine gangway floor. They are charged by the engine 12v alternator 100 amp when the engine is running, or if shore power or generator is connected the power comes from an 12V 80 Amp SBC Advance smart 230v battery charger.
Starboard panel has it's own separate 12v 180Ah battery - these are also mounted under the engine gangway floor. They are charged by the engine 12v alternator 100 Amp when running, or if shore power or generator is connected the power comes from an 12V 80 Amp SBC Advance smart 230v battery charger.
The generator also has it own 12v 105 Ah battery which is charged by the generator, but is also connected to a small trickle smart charger when shore power is connected.
All 12V batteries that are charged by the engine 100 Amp alternator pass through a splitter diodes so one battery can not drain another battery. They also have an isolation/MCB for overloading protection.
Additional change over switch in the event one fails. These are all found in the engine room electrical panel.
Power passes through a change over selection switch so either Generator or shore power is connected to the consumer unit. Consumer unit with main switch and 9 MCB/RCD (one RCD for each cabin) to all outlets through all the boat's cabins.
There is an 230vac to 110vac transformer supplying power to multiple 110v outlets through the boats cabins protected by a separated MCB board.
Lombardi MARINE 6 Kw. 230v model LGM6000 seawater cooled year 2012. Which, through a change over switch (which changes from shore power to generator), works through the electrical panel. The generator and controls/display panel (display Voltage/current/hrs) are mounted in the engine room.
There is a separate battery just for the generator, which, when running, keeps the all the batteries charged through the various chargers and powerful enough to heat the water, run the air-fryer fan oven, air-fryer basket oven, and electric kettle.

The hull and decks are constructed of GRP in 2010. Gelcoat was stripped from the hull and deck dried out and re gelled in 2012, then the hull was Copper Coated and upgraded in 2017.
Copper coat supplied by Copper Coat UK.
There are 2 grey waste water storage tanks and 1 black water tank. The black water tank is in the bow and is part of the boat structure as a bulk head. Monitoring the tank is controlled at the port side electrical panel - here you can check the level of the tank and pump it out while at sea or there is a vacuum connection for emptying in a marina.
The 2 grey water tanks collect the water from all the sinks and showers. The mid ship grey water tank collects water from the forward shower, wash hand basin and main saloon sink.
The aft grey water tank collects water from the aft shower and wash hand basin.
The control for both grey water tanks is on the port electrical panel, where levels can be monitored and tanks can be pumped out to sea. The tanks are approx. 20 litres each with built in pumps.
2 fresh water tanks both are part of the boat structure.
The large forward tank is under the floor of the forward saloon. Capacity approx 300 litres, with its own automatic s/d pressure pump.
The second tank is under floor in the aft saloon -capacity approx 100 litres, with its own automatic s/d pump. Both pumps and tanks are controlled and monitored at the port side electrical panel.

Commentaires du Broker
This Spencer 53 Centre Cockpit has been owned by the current owner who has covered a number of nautical miles with her.
She has plenty of kit on board and the owner has provided us with numerous instruction manuals so you'll have everything at your fingertips!
She's a well thought out boat with plenty of hand rails making it easy to get around in rough weather and LED lighting throughout which can be changed from white to red lights from the control panel for those night passages.
I think the current owner is pretty organised as everything is labelled so you won't be searching for ages trying to find out which switch does what!
Seems like a great boat which could take you on some great adventures.
