After almost 9 days at sea we made it to Bermuda last Saturday. We didn't move very fast (we averaged under a 100 nm a day), but it was one of the most comfortable offshore passages we've yet had.

After one week at sea, we still have nearly 200 nautical miles left to Bermuda. At the moment it looks like we'll arrive in Bermuda Saturday – just in time for the Champions League Final (If they care about that in Bermuda).

According to the latest figures published by Yachtworld it now takes 350 to 450 days to sell a boat. These are average time periods based on 132,000 boats for sale by 2525 Yacht Brokers using Yachtworld.

In Las Palmas we met a Danish cruiser, who lived on her boat in Las Palmas Marina. She had bought the boat in Spain six years earlier, had sailed it down to Las Palmas, and now the boat had never since been out of the marina.
